Major is a stylish retriever that reflects the labrador standards set by the American Kennel Club --- strongly built, medium sized, short coupled, a dog possessing sound, athletic and well balanced conformation. Built to function as a retrieving gun with the substance and soundness to hunt waterfowl and upland game for long hours under difficult conditions. The character and quality to win in the show ring and the temperament to be a family companion.

Major has earned his JH title and will be completing Senior level hunt tests throughout 2009. He is a proven gun dog that meets the needs of any wing shooter whether it be waterfowl or upland.

Major comes from spectacular lines. His sire is GMHR Am/Mex/ Int’l CH Cooks Midnight Bandit MH. Bandit was only one of 38 labs in history to earn both an AKC Championship and Master Hunt Title. The first lab ever to earn his championship plus two master titles.
